The original concept for the Escape Community Art Center began three years ago with the creation of the Students for Suicide Awareness at the University of West Florida.
At the time, the founding members saw a need for mental health awareness and support on campus and they chose to serve this need through the means of music and art. As many of the founding members began to graduate they realized that the same need on campus was needed for the community at large. Thus, the Escape Community Art Center came to be.
Over the past year, the founding members have dedicated many hours and resources to turning this much needed resource into a reality. But, we cannot continue alone. With your support, the Escape Community Art Center will succeed.
